This article explains the steps necessary to connect the BT dongle of TMSi's Porti and Mobi systems.
Before making a new connection with the device, any other connection with a TMSi BT dongle should be removed. You can do this by going to 'Bluetooth & devices' > 'Devices' on your PC. Next, find all TMSi BT dongles that are connected previously and remove the device from your connections.
After removing the dongle, power on the device and add a new device: please select the ‘Bluetooth’ option as shown in the picture below.
The PC will start searching for a Bluetooth connection to the device. As shown below, it will show the name of the device with its serial number. Select the device for connection.
For the configuration, it is required to enter the PIN of the device. In the picture below, it is shown how this will look like. This is the last 4 number of the serial number of the device, which is 0024 in this example. Enter the PIN and press ‘Connect’.
The PC will make the connection with the device. If it states that it is ‘Paired’, as shown below, the connection is successfully done.
The device will be shown in the overview with the name of the device its serial number, no matter if it is turned on or turned off.
